R.A.W.: Realms of Ancient War to zręcznościowe RPG inspirowane cyklem Diablo. Jest to produkcja francuskiego studia Wizarbox znanego dotąd głównie z przygodówek, takich jak Gray Matter czy seria So Blonde.
Akcja toczy się w typowej krainie fantasy, pełnej magii oraz zamieszkałej przez wiele dziwnych stworzeń. Przed rozpoczęciem przygód musimy wybrać spośród kilku różnorodnych klas postaci, w tym łotrzyka, wojownika i czarnoksiężnika. R.A.W. to typowe action-rpg, więc zabawa polega głównie na wybijaniu hord wrogów i zbieraniu cennych przedmiotów. Robić to wszystko możemy samotnie lub w trybie kooperacyjnym z jednym innym graczem. Za nasze osiągnięcia nagradzani jesteśmy punktami doświadczenia, które następnie wydajemy na rozwijanie charakterystyk naszej postaci. Jej możliwości bojowe zwiększamy również poprzez zdobywanie lub kupowanie nowego ekwipunku.
