Album nagrany na Montreux Jazz Festival w 1987 roku. Było już kilka wydań tej płyty, każda pod innym tytułem: "The Montreux Performance" (ITM), "Switzerland" (Polskie Nagrania), "Live At The Montreux Jazz Festival 1987" (Polonia Records). Tym razem płyta nosi tytuł "Freelectronic In Montreux".

Description:
TOMASZ STANKO (trumpeter, composer, leader). Born 1942. Professional debut with Ch. Komeda in 1963. A trumpet player of unique technique and exceptional improvisational performance, both rooted in his first jazz experience in the "free" spirit of early sixties... Upon his extraordinary playing ability and under Komeda's influence he has developed an equally unique and superb skill as a leader-composer. He displayed it for the first time with Tomasz Stanko Quintet, one of the few credible incarnations of free jazz in Europe. Since the quintet's international debut of 1970 Berliner Jazz Tage he has been widely acknowledged as a highly creative artist, an outstanding musician and gifted jazzman. He has recorded over 20 albums.

WITOLD EUGENIUSZ SZCZUREK (double bass, electric bass). Born 1955. Graduated from Academy of Music in Cracow. Professional debut with Jan Ptaszyn Wroblewski (mainstream jazz). Performed/recorded all over Europe an in Cuba also with Ewa Demarczyk (grand chansonne) and Sun Ship (hard bop). Driving force behind Tomasz Stanko since 1981, first with Slavomir Kulpowicz's In-Formation, then within C.O.C.X. combinations. Since 1983 also in front of his own Basspace band. Recorded LP's incl. 2 as a leader/composer released on Poljazz and Muza labels.

JANUSZ SKOWRON (Grand piano, Rolland synthesizer). Born 1957. Professional debut with Kazimierz Jonkisz (straight ahead) in 1979. The most wanted sideman in Poland, performed/recorded internationaly with all the most prominent jazz artist including String Connection (1979-83) and a short stint with Tomasz Stanko (1980). Appeared on 6 LP's released on Poljazz and Muza labels.

TADEUSZ SUDNIK (synthi synthesizer, live electronics). Born 1955. Professional debut in 1979 as electronic/recording engineer at Polish Radio Experimental Music Studio. Awarded for productions/creations of music written by the most distinguished of Polish avangarde composers at Luigi Russolo Competition in Italy and Bourges Festival in France. Contributed to numerous musical, theatrical and multimedia productions by National Theatre in Warsaw, Independent Studio of Electronic Music, International Society of Contemporary Music and various independent artists.
